<\/span><\/h2>\n\nSpiritual guidance seeks the spiritual growth of the individual, his connection to a higher divine power and moral improvement. It provides faith-based guidance and advice and aims to enhance holistic self-awareness. It connects us to ourselves and to the universe. It helps us to find our personal truth and to live our feelings. <\/p>\n\n
But he will never tell us “stop thinking” “stop working” “stop using science”. With my experience as a spiritual director for over 10 years, I can tell them that I have been known to say to someone “don’t come to me, go and get some therapy first”. <\/p>\n\n
Neither the spiritual world nor I as a professional would say that we don’t need a psychologist, psychotherapist and professional scientist. We must always ask ourselves what exactly we need and for what purpose we will choose one or the other.The harmonious coexistence of these two worlds has the potential to unlock a world of inner peace and spiritual growth. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/span>Different objectives and methods <\/span><\/h2>\n\nOn the other hand, psychology focuses on the study of human behaviour and mental processes. It helps people understand and manage their emotions, recognise and work through their psychological problems and develop healthier ways of coping with life’s challenges. <\/p>\n\n
Therefore, while these two approaches have different goals and methods, when used in combination they can promote holistic wellness and personal growth. It is, therefore, important to be aware of the differences between spiritual direction and psychology, and to appreciate the unique contributions of each field.<\/p>\n\n

<\/span>Psychology and Faith: a holistic approach to the two worlds<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\nPsychology and faith are two spheres of existence that reflect the inner structure of man. <\/p>\n\n
The harmonious coexistence of these two worlds has the potential to unlock a world of inner peace and spiritual growth. <\/p>\n\n
Psychology teaches us about the evolution and functioning of the human mind, while faith and channeling connect us to the invisible world of spirit. Many treatments and strategies are combined. We just have to choose the right moment for it.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/span>Channeling – The perfect combination<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\nFaith has the potential to offer a deeper meaning to our lives, while psychology is a powerful tool for dealing with the challenges, worries and fears that life presents. <\/p>\n\n
The harmonization of these two worlds, psychology and faith, offers man the opportunity for a holistic approach to life and inner development.
<\/span>A true story <\/span><\/h2>\n\nIn fact, a few years ago a client of mine called me from a psychosomatic clinic that was about six weeks old. She explained that she and her psychotherapist talked about the channelings I sent them and used them in their sessions. It was the perfect combination to solve many of her problems.<\/p>\n\n
My way of channeling combines both worlds. It connects us to the world of the spirit world that raises our morale, floods us with love but at the same time gives us food for our minds.
<\/span>What gives us strength, love and helps to change behaviour <\/span><\/h2>\n\nYes, every client in every session will calm down and learn how to behave, what to watch out for and what to change in their way of thinking and in their daily life. <\/p>\n\n
It is a tool that is as useful and practical for our daily life and professional career as it is valuable for our spiritual development and moral improvement.<\/p>\n\n
